Also know as "Kavika", David is a German national and
a man of many talents.
He can be found juggling in the courtyard, playing the card game
"Magic" or problem solving computer code issues with programmers
from India in the middle of the night.
David is also a champion table tennis player competing at the statewide
level. David is working hard at teaching his son Luka to be bilingual
and we are all learning German too.

Sonya is active in the community both physically and environmentally.
She utilizes her EcoPass on weekdays to get to her work in Denver.
Sonya is currently involved on the Transportation Committee of the
local chapter of the Sierra Club. She has an active interest in
the work of the Rocky Mountain Institute and the Nature Conservancy.
Her ideal job would be in Environmental Economics.

Vinc rarely chews with his mouth open or spells his name with an
"e". He's more emotionally stable than a knot of toads
and can eat ordinary burritos with a single bite.
Vinc votes responsibly and washes his hands frequently. Typically
his family is pleased to see him and (since getting proper haircuts)
beasts rarely run away at the sight of him. Vinc can be heard referring
to himself in the third person.
Vinc has Amazing Powers of Observation.

Life sure has been an interesting journey. I was born in Iowa and
have now lived more than half my life in Boulder. I have one daughter,
Kaitlin that will graduate from Boulder HS in 2009. My partner is
Ramon Diaz, a wonderful man that I share my life with.

Neshama first learned about cohousing in 1996 and has been actively
involved in assisting cohousing groups with their public relations
and marketing needs. She is a national press contact for the cohousing
movement. Neshama is a native New Yorker who worked in the fast-paced
media world of Manhattan for 15 years. Neshama & Zev have two
girls, Halonah and Zipporah , and have lived in the Nomad Cohousing
Community since November 1997. Neshama was once a professional tennis
player and is trained as a yoga teacher. Neshama is pleased that
the family does morning yoga together.

Joshua Berman is an award-winning guidebook author whose articles,
essays, and photographs have appeared in National Geographic Traveler,
The Boston Globe, and Yoga Journal.
His latest project is a book about the 16-month, round-the-world
honeymoon from which he and his wife, Sutay, returned shortly before
moving to Nomad.
In addition to being a freelance writer, Joshua is an Outward Bound
Wilderness Instructor, returned Peace Corps Volunteer, and bluegrass
mandolin picker who is happy to add "cohousing resident"
to his list of achievements.

Sutay is a Registered Nurse, yoga enthusiast, and proud Colorado
native. After working several years as an international public health
worker in West Africa, India, and Sri Lanka, she is happy to be
back home and starting a family.

Steve came to Boulder at the recommendation of his older brother
Bob who found a Buddhist teacher here. Steve has a background in
Social Work and loves to gab, play tennis, and walk the community's
dogs. He is a regular practioner of meditation and a whirlwind in
the kitchen. Steve goes to meditation retreat once or twice a year.

Ginnie has a long background in Environmental Biology and conservation.
Her main areas of focus are native plants, ecological restoration,
the 3 Rs: "Reuse, Recycling, & Reduction of waste".
Ginnie is currently owned by her son and her dog but shares her
home with her partner Vinc.

we don't believe it.

Nat is a consultant in the Ski Industry. He is a ski buff and comes
from a back-ground in Psychology. Apparently it wasn't enough fun
so for now he plays for a living. Tough job! Nat has great stealth

Zev has been involved in cohousing as a professional for 12 years
and is Senior Partner of Abraham & Associates, LLC with Neshama.
He is also the Director of Project Development for Support Financial
Services, which provides financial assistance to cohousing groups.
He is a national spokesperson for the cohousing industry. In his
past life, Zev was the founding Executive Director of The Cohousing
Network (TCN). He was the co-founder and president of the Rocky
Mountain CoHousing Association (RMCA), the Managing Editor of the
CoHousing magazine for 5 years, and a resident of Nyland Cohousing
in Lafayette, CO. for 3 years.

Scott is one of the founding members of Boulder Cohousing; He previously
lived in Nyland Cohousing in Lafayette, Co. for 4 years.
He has his own 8-person architecture firm which specializes in sustainable
design and cohousing design.

For fun Scott teaches Partner Yoga & Contact Improvisation dance.

Stephen succumbed to Chief Niwot's curse after he came to Boulder
on his motorcycle in 1972. Stephen has enjoyed life at Nomad Cohousing
since 1997.
As a realtor he enjoys helping families find affordable housing
in Boulder County.
The Business model that he has adopted offers his clients an unusual
and suprising number of services that make moving and buying a home
a much easier task. He enjoys working with ERA Tradewind Real Estate
where he is challenged and stimulated by successful and knowledgeable
professionals.
Trust, Loyalty and Clear Communication have been the secrets of
his success.
Stephen also enjoys hanging out with his two daughters and is a
dedicated father. He is an avid cyclist and there is a good chance
that you have seen him on the road heading up to Jamestown or out
to Carter Lake.
